Store description

Olana Gallery was established in 1971 focusing on American Art Books. It was one of the first bookstores to issue specialized catalogs on the subject and over fifty-three years in business has records of over 35,000 items specific to American Art that have been part of the inventory over the life of the business. Many of the bibliographic entries contributed to the self-published work "Olana's Guide to American Art" still a cornerstone of serious study of the subject. Dozens of rare 19th and early 20th Century imprints have been reprinted by the business to the benefit of the scholarly community, educational facilities and private collectors. Today the books available for purchase are more wide in scope including many books on spirituality, economics, commercial law and twentieth Century literature in addition to the core of American Art Books. We continue to invite want lists and are happy to talk to you about building a great collection of books together.
