About the Author

Celeste Li, M.D., is the author of Triumph Over Suffering and this sequel, Triumph of Surrender. Raised Catholic from childhood, Celeste surrendered her life to Jesus thirteen years ago, when she came to know Him at age 40. As she began to grow up in the Lord, chasing after Jesus with all her heart and surrendering to Him in deeper and deeper measure, she began to understand what intimacy and abiding really means. Celeste has been a member of Christ Fellowship Church since 2003, and is currently serving in her church’s ministry for the suffering. She and John, her husband of 27 years, along with their twenty-something children Alec and Jenna, have partnered to bring these Triumph books forth. A graduate of Jefferson Medical College, Celeste’s specialty is Family Practice. She worked in private practice for a few years, then in HIV and AIDS Clinic for the next twenty years. Currently she is the Medical Director of First Care Women’s Clinic, a Christian crisis pregnancy center. Celeste’s greatest passion is to guide people to experience the extravagant grace of the Father, to surrender to the passionate unconditional love of Jesus, and to learn to be led by the Holy Spirit as they mature in the Lord. “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser ... he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing ...
