This is a 1st softcover edition, 3rd printing of "The Triumph of Time", the final installment of the "Cities in Flight" series by James Blish, later collected in a similarly rare omnibus edition. James Blish was a writer for Star Trek, and a very well known figure in the golden era science fiction community. This copy of one of his most famous works is in very good shape for its age. There is a wrinkled portion on the spine, there is a crease along the bottom half of the back cover, and the bottom outside edge of the back cover is worn, see pictures. Exterior pages have a beautiful green color. All pages sit securely in the binding, and there do not appear to be any markings from previous owners in the book. A close look at pages invites the idea this copy of this book has never been read, only stored in various facilities over the years, from whence comes its cosmetic flaws. 158 numbered pages.
