Publisher's finely woven aquamarine cloth, spine lettered in gilt, top edge gilt, fore- and bottom edges untrimmed, typographic dust jacket unclipped, with original addenda and corrigenda of 1934 laid in (10pp). Inscribed by Sadleir to his secretary, Martha Smith: "dear MS. / this is for you-no fear / now of ever being unable / to have a good read / yours always / MS."
