This book allows both instructors and students a deeper understanding of the complexities and subtleties of the U.S. political system beyond that normally achieved in a traditional chapter-by-chapter approach.

About the Author

Mr. Király received his BA in History (1992) and MPA (1995) from Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, California. A firm believer in life-long learning and the value of intellectual engagement, he is strongly engaged in academic life, having presented over a dozen papers at national conferences as well as participating in a number of seminars through the National Endowment for the Humanities. He maintains memberships in Pi Sigma Alpha, the Political Science Honor Society and Phi Alpha Theta, the Honor Society for the Study of History. He is a member of the American Political Science Association, the American Historical Association, the American Society of Public Administration, as well as a number of regional History and Political Science associations. He was founding President and remains active with the Zeta Tau chapter of Phi Beta Delta, the Honor Society for International Scholars. Mike serves as Director of Operations for the Library at Sonoma State University, and is an adjunct lecturer in American Government, Comparative Government, and Modern Ideologies at Santa Rosa Junior College and Napa Valley College. He is active in the service life of his community, where he serves as board president of Project Applause, a local non-profit in support of the arts, as well as being a member of the Rotary Club of Rohnert Park – Cotati, and of the Sonoma County World Affairs Council. Mike lives in Northern California.
