A Troubling Case of Murder on the Menu: LARGE PRINT EDITION (An Emily Cherry Cozy Mystery LARGE PRINT EDITION)

*** SPECIAL LARGE PRINT EDITION ***

A retired widow with a brand-new food blog. A waiter nursing a grudge. One village restaurant called The Silver Swan.

Emily Cherry, Retired Insurance Clerk Turned Food Blogger. Emily buried her husband Sebastian, retired, and told her grown children she was starting a food blog. Her first review at The Silver Swan ends in the alley behind it. She wants someone to write down what she saw. Chief Inspector Woods sees a frail old lady and sends for a paramedic.

Alyssa Bradley, Detective Constable in the Little Oakley Police. DC Bradley is the only officer outside The Silver Swan who asks the witness what she actually saw. She wants to make chief inspector, and she wants this case done properly. Her boss has already decided the old woman has nothing to give him.

Aaron Burns is dead behind a restaurant his mother half owns, and Little Oakley has settled on the chef who shouted at him an hour before. Emily saw that argument, and something else besides. Nobody has asked her about either.

Everyone at The Silver Swan looked straight past the old woman with the notepad. She was the only one writing it all down.
