Illustrated with a frontispiece reproducing a painting of an Eastern Brook Trout by William J. Schaldach. Twenty attractive color plates (inserted at the front) of flies painted by Dr. Edgar Burke. Four inserted plates later in the volume with numerous black and white photographs of fly tying [by Charles S Krug(?)]. Publisher's green buckram over patterned red cloth, stamped in gilt on the spine, and stamped in blind on the front cover. Top edge Stained gray. . Cloth has very minor rubbing and light wear, including three or four small blemishes on the rear cover. The stained top edge has an additional, small "user-added" stain near the fore-edge corner that is not too unsightly. Sheets with very minor foxing in places, mostly around the edges. The price-clipped dust jacket has mostly minor chipping and wear around the edges, with a couple soft creases, a short closed tear, and mild soiling to the rear panel else a very bright example. Altogether a pleasing copy of this title, in very good condition. HFP-495. Seller Inventory # 495
