Trude the Fly: Book 2 The Castle Trap

A fly with an appetite for adventure. A castle that never lets her leave.Trude has stepped through the portal alone — and lands in a castle no one seems to live in, yet which sets its table anew with cake and cream every single morning. At first, that sounds like paradise to a fly with a bottomless tummy. But the days start repeating: the same cake, the same tilted frosting, the same empty halls. Slowly, Trude realizes she isn't just a guest — she's trapped in a loop. And she isn't the only one caught in it.Deep beneath the castle, a strange glowing pond turns her into something else entirely — and on the other side waits Lisa, a girl who has forgotten almost everything about the world she came from, including how long she's been here.Together, Trude and Lisa must find a way to break the castle's spell before the same endless day swallows them both for good.A warmhearted, funny, and gently suspenseful read-aloud adventure about time, friendship, and a tummy that never learns its lesson — even after the hundredth slice of cake.Perfect for kids ages 5–8 who love magical mysteries, unlikely friendships, and stories just spooky enough to be exciting without ever being scary.Book 2 in the Trude the Fly series.
