The book has a lengthy introduction explaining the circumstances by which the medium, Alexander Smyth, came to pen it. The true authors are Saul of Tarsus and Judas Iscariot. They have been wandering in the spirit world for 18 centuries in isolation, which time they passed in remorse and repentance for their vile acts while on earth.
