The True Nature Of Imposture Fully Displayed In The Life Of Mahomet: With A Discourse Annexed For The Vindication Of Christianity

The True Nature of Imposture Fully Displayed in the Life of Mahomet is a book written by Humphrey Prideaux. The book provides a detailed account of the life of the Islamic prophet, Muhammad, and aims to expose the nature of his claims to prophethood as fraudulent. Prideaux argues that Muhammad was not a true prophet, but rather an impostor who used deceit and manipulation to gain power and influence. In addition to the biographical account of Muhammad's life, the book also includes a discourse on the vindication of Christianity. Prideaux uses the life of Muhammad as a contrast to the life of Jesus Christ, arguing that the Christian faith is based on a true and authentic revelation from God, while Islam is based on a false and fraudulent one. Overall, The True Nature of Imposture Fully Displayed in the Life of Mahomet is a critical examination of the Islamic faith and its founder. It provides a historical perspective on the origins of Islam and offers a defense of Christianity in the face of Islamic claims to truth and authenticity. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
