About the Author:
George Erickson was named Minnesota Aviation Author of the Year in 2001. Reading The Friendly Arctic as a teenager led to a twenty-five-year obsession with the Arctic and sub-Arctic. Erickson has logged more than a thousand hours flying over the north country. He is married with two adult sons. TrueNorth is his first book.
