The Trust Was the First Mistake (Built On Lies, Buried In Truth)

The Trust Was the First MistakeEverything starts with a decision. What comes after is where people get exposed. The first move already happened. Now the pressure shifts. After the events that put their names in motion, J-Rok and his circle are no longer moving in the shadows—they are the focus. What happened at the warehouse didn’t stay contained. It spread. Fast. And now the streets aren’t just watching… they’re reacting.Information hits before truth. Names travel before facts. And suddenly, every move they make is being tracked, tested, and manipulated by forces they still can’t fully see. What looked like a setup is revealed to be something deeper—something designed to control not just them, but everyone around them.Scrappy wants action. J-Rok wants answers. Peaches sees what neither of them wants to admit—this isn’t about one move, one mistake, or one enemy. This is about positioning. About who benefits when everything falls apart at the same time. And the most dangerous part? The people closest to you don’t have to betray you to expose you.Because trust doesn’t get broken by strangers. It gets used by people who already know how close they can stand before you notice. The Trust Was the First Mistake is a relentless continuation of the Built on Lies, Buried in Truth series—where pressure builds, loyalty fractures, and every decision pulls you deeper into something you didn’t start… but now have to survive.
