Synopsis
The story of a man s conflict with God and what he learned during that struggle about living by faith. In vivid anecdotal form, the author explores central questions of life that confront people on a daily basis:What does it mean to walk by faith? Is there power in prayer? Does God still perform miracles? Does God provide individual guidance? Is the Bible relevant to our problems? Is the Holy Spirit still active? Are we living in the end times ? The author, Dr. David Reagan, spent 20 years running away from the Lord s call on his life. During that time, he earned a doctorate in international law and politics, served as a college professor and administrator, ran for public office, served in the Nixon Administration and directed a business enterprise. In 1980, Dr. Reagan yielded to the Lord s call and established a non-denominational ministry that specializes in the teaching of Bible prophecy. Since that time, he has traveled worldwide conducting meetings and conferences. He has authored 14 books, and he has conducted 45 tours to Israel. He currently serves as the host of a weekly television program, Christ in Prophecy, that is broadcast both nationally and internationally.
About the Author
Dr. David R. Reagan founded Lamb & Lion Ministries in 1980 after spending 20 years as a professor of international law and politics. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Texas in Austin. He earned his graduate degrees from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy ― a school of international studies that is owned and operated jointly by Tufts and Harvard Universities. After leading Lamb & Lion Ministries for 41 years, Dr. Reagan transitioned the leadership to Colonel Tim Moore in 2021 and stepped aside to focus on writing. During his 41 years as Senior Evangelist, Dr. Reagan held Bible prophecy seminars all over the United States and around the world. He served as the host of a weekly television program called Christ in Prophecy that is broadcast over many national Christian networks, regional networks and stations, and a variety of Christian websites. It is also broadcast over satellites around the world. Additionally, he served as the editor of the ministry’s bi-monthly Lamplighter magazine. One of Dr. Reagan’s specialties is the Middle East and its role in end time prophecy. He has been to Israel more than 45 times. Dr. Reagan was married 60 years to his wife, Ann, before her death in 2020. They were the parents of two daughters, and they have four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He remarried in 2021, and he and his wife, Linda, live in the Dallas, Texas area.
