Trusting Her Heart

Sadie Benson is all too familiar with the term “love hurts.” after five years of marriage to an abusive husband, Sadie finds herself on a train with her little girl, Hazel, as they embark on a journey across the country to find a forgotten dream and forge a pathway towards healing, safety, and love. Trust doesn’t come easily to Sadie after everything she has been through... Healing and moving on is hard when she was told for so many years that she was not worth loving.

Ryder Mack knew he’d settle down one day, but he isn’t in any hurry. He spends most of his time at the fire station, loving his position as the fire chief in the small town of Stone creek, Illinois. Between work and helping his Friends Travis and Sawyer at their winery, He has very little time for dating. Plus, he’s perfectly content with life as it is... until Sadie walks into the room and into his life, changing his plans in a moment.

Can Ryder convince Sadie that she can trust him? Can he protect her from the dangers of her past as they threaten in ways he never imagined? Can Sadie find a way to escape the fears of the past so she can find love in her new life?
