The Truth Effect (Rising World)

In a surveillance state, the truth is the most dangerous thing.

Journalist Kelly Blackwell exposed a government conspiracy. No one believed her.

Two years later, the Truth Laws have turned London into a surveillance state where speaking against the government will ruin your life. When Kelly's mentor is brutally arrested and she discovers evidence he left behind of a covert mind-surveillance system, she becomes the target of a manhunt that forces her to question everything.

Kelly must race against time to expose the conspiracy before the Elite Squad finds her. But in a world where truth is controlled and lies are law, the biggest revelation might be waiting in the evidence she's uncovered.

A dystopian thriller about the cost of truth in a world built on lies.
