Paperback. Nick Park has always believed in love-not the fairy-tale kind, but the one that burns, bruises, and leaves a scar. From impulsive first love to reckless hookups, from those who stayed too long to those who left too soon, Nick stumbles through each chapter of his life trying to figure out what love actually means-and whether the scars are even worth it.The Truth About Love is a brutally honest, unapologetically unfiltered, and darkly funny novel about love, loss, and contemporary gay relationships, told through heartbreaks, near-misses, and far too many regrettable mornings. This isn't a story about finding "the one."It's about surviving everyone who wasn't. Content Warning: Contains strong language, explicit sexual content, substance use, and unhealthy relationship dynamics. Intended for mature readers. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability.

About the Author
Taylor (or just Tay) is a Canadian writer, software developer, and professional overthinker. He writes character-driven stories with heart, humour, a healthy dose of existential dread, and a cynical-ish worldview-often featuring anthropomorphic characters, big emotions, and sarcastic protagonists who'd rather be anywhere else.
His debut novel, Stories of My Dinosaur Life, blends science fiction, urban fantasy, and fake-memoir chaos to explore identity, resilience, and what it means to find your place in a world that wasn't built for you.
Tay lives in Canada's capital, drinks too much coffee, and spends an unreasonable amount of time making sure fictional animals have believable trauma arcs. When not writing, he's probably coding something weird or complaining about an easily fixable problem.
