Douglass, Th.D., has enjoyed a distinguished career as a college professor at Pacific Union College; college academic dean and president at Atlantic Union College; associate editor, Adventist Review; vice-president, Pacific Press Publishing Association, and president of Weimar Institute. His latest books include Messenger of the Lord, Should We Ever Say, 'I am saved!' and God At Risk. Currently retired (again), he resides with his wife, Norma, in Lincoln Hills, California.
