Truth in Shadows

The journey of life is made up of points of light followed by shadows. We tend to celebrate the mountaintops and beg for the valleys to be shortened to keep ourselves from pain. This collection of poetry is meant to display that growth, healing, and truth can be found and celebrated through the shadows created during this amazing ride.

Laura Elle is a resident of South Carolina, a proud mother of three, and an artist through song, dance, and the written word. She holds a degree in psychology and loves to reflect on the minds, hearts, and spirits of all people she meets. Laura never shrinks away from self-reflection and honest social expression. This book is her first published collection of poetry.
