Philadelphia: Carey, Lea, & Blanchard, 1837. This is a collection of 10 stories, leading off with, and highlighting the Dickens tale. His Tuggs story first appeared in the British "Library of Fiction" in 1836. See Gimbel B1. According to my betters, this is the only sketch by Boz that did not appear in the eponymous "Sketches by Boz," instead being published in the Library of Fiction series. Bound as issued in cloth over boards with paper spine label. Scattered foxing throughout, but a better copy than generally appears in the trade. . 18.5 cm. 204 pp. .
