Tummy Time!: A High-Contrast Fold-Out Book with Mirror for Babies

A New York Times Best Board Book for Babies
A Bank Street College of Education Best Board Book

The perfect gift for newborn babies! A fold-out, high-contrast board book designed to support baby’s development during tummy time.

This engaging board book introduces new vocabulary and encourages parents to read playfully with intonation, trumpeting loudly like an elephant or wagging the puppy's tail excitedly. It combines bold black-and-white patterns with first words and baby-friendly images to stimulate visual development and early language skills.
This book will keep babies' brains busy, while their muscles are hard at work. The high-contrast images on one side are mesmerizing because, although young babies' vision is blurry, they can see bold patterns with sharp light-dark contrast and saturated color.
Babies are also hard-wired to recognize faces, so there are baby photos on the other side to delight your baby, and an embedded mirror―because babies love looking at themselves! The book can be spread out in front of them, or read like a book so you can enjoy reading time together.

Key Features:

• Developmental Focus: Encourages visual tracking, neck and core strength, and early word recognition.
• Interactive Format: Accordion-style fold-out design stands upright for hands-free tummy time play.
• Bonding Moments: Promotes caregiver-baby interaction through shared reading and mirrored play.
• First Words Fun: Introduces foundational vocabulary in a format babies love to explore.

Whether used during tummy time or lap time, Tummy Time! offers a joyful, developmentally rich experience for babies and their grown-ups.
Tummy Time! is part of the award-winning Tummy Time! series, named Best Board Books by Bank Street College of Education.
