Pagination: [iv], xx, 340pp. Provenance: bookplate with ‘Faithful’ and ‘and Secret’ in a scroll beneath a shield. Approximately 7 inches (18cm) tall. Condition Report Externally Spine – very good condition – gilt titles and decoration, five raised band, gently marked and worn. Joints – very good condition – gently rubbed. Corners – good condition – rubbed and worn. Boards – good condition – gilt lined leather and marbled paper covered board, gently worn. Page edges – good condition – top edges darkened others tanned. Binding – good condition – sound, nice binding, attractive. See above and photos. Internally Hinges – good condition – sound. Paste downs – good condition – marbled paper paste downs.
