Tunnel Through Time: The Riddle and the Race

Thrust back in time one thousand years, Ari and Seamus, accompanied by an irrepressible Keeshond, must use every skill they possess, and courage they didn't know they had, if they are to survive. They are pursued by a murderer, attempt a rescue, find themselves in the middle of a Viking raid, a Druid ceremony, an abandoned tomb, and a haunted forest. For a chance to return to the present, Ari and Seamus must solve the mysterious beggar's riddle and win the race against time.

Caroll Congleton was born in Gainesville, Florida in 1937 where her father was a professor of English at the University of Florida. She graduated from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri, from the University of Florida with a degree in fine arts, and from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri with a master's degree. She married Florida athlete Bernie Parrish in 1958 and experienced life as the wife of a Cleveland Browns player during the Golden Age of professional football. They had five children before divorcing in 1973. Caroll taught art for twenty-five years. She enjoys painting, drawing, history, and gardening. Her Keeshonden are featured in some of her books. Her books include the Tunnel Through Time series (The Riddle and the Race; The Crystal Cave; and The Second Stone) as well as Formidable Females: Biographies in Rhyme.
