The Turn can relate to anyone whether they are dealing with anger, drugs, food, money management, stealing, gambling, jealousy, alcohol, lust, or ____________. We are simply a group of people on a journey together to find real change. To find something that works. The turn is made up of four main components which include twelve challenges. The four components include; The Give Up Challenges, The Clean Up Challenges, The Make Up Challenges, and The Keep Up Challenges. About the Author
Though you might not think it upon first glance or encounter with Rusty, he was a drug addict, homeless, incarcerated, and eventually unemployable. Through those experiences Rusty experienced the love and support of real friends and family. Sadly, though, he realized not everyone had that. Rusty eventually bought a trailer with his savings and opened up a residential facility for men. Fast forward just six years and One Eighty would grow to operate a nationally known program that includes three key areas; Prevent, Reach, and Develop. It’s helped thousands overcome struggles in their life and has reached out to thousands of other kids who are at risk of taking the same road Rusty did. Rusty also entrepreneurially founded many businesses with One Eighty that are designed to be employment opportunities for those in their residential program. Rusty has raised millions of dollars for the community, leads a volunteer force of hundreds, and is a highly sought after speaker and community leader. He has able to do all of this before his 30th birthday. However, if you ask him what his biggest accomplishment is, he would tell you it’s being married to his beautiful wife Brook and raising their kids. Rusty has authored two books; Cell 121 and 12:2. Cell 121 has reached Amazons Best Seller list.
