About the Author
Terry Schmidt is an internationally-known management consultant who helps organizations become more strategic, productive and profitable. He has three decades of experience as an executive, educator, and strategy coach, assisting corporations, governments, and research institutions in 32 countries worldwide. Terry is the founder of ManagementPro.com, a Seattle-based company with expertise in strategic thinking, action planning, and execution. His North American clients include eBay, Boeing, Northrup-Grumman, Sony Electronics, PATH, Walt Disney Imagineering, Microsoft, Cargill, the Los Angeles Times, Blizzard Entertainment, and national research labs including Los Alamos, Lawrence Livermore, and Sandia. He has assisted virtually every Washington state and federal government agency, and international clients such as Nokia, Thai Airways, and the Bank of Thailand. Terry teaches executives and technologists at the MIT Professional Institute and at the UCLA Extension Technical Management Program, where he is rated in the top 10% of all faculty. Terry earned his BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Washington, and his MBA from Harvard. He is an immediate past president, current board member, and lifelong learning chair of the Harvard Business School Club of Puget Sound.
