About the Author

Geraldine Adamich Laufer (called Geri by her friends) is a noted horticulturist, garden writer, garden-circuit lecturer and columnist for Herb Companion Magazine. Past hats include the Cooperative Extension Service as a Horticulture County Agent and as an Adjunct Professor in Environmental Horticulture at a trade school. Geri was a Trustee and then the Public Relations Manager/Newsletter Editor/Webmaster for the Atlanta Botanical Garden for a couple of decades and now has her own small business consulting on public relations and social media for horticulture companies.
