Twelve Lessons in Concentration and Will Power: Correspondence Course

Born in Illinois in 1863, FRANKLIN WARREN SEARS earned his master's degree in psychology before focusing his energies toward teaching people the practical application of positive psychology.

Believing that everyone has within himself or herself the power to achieve their hopes and dreams, Sears authored this work (originally published in 1919) as a practical guide to use oneness of mind and willpower to succeed. As our powers and energy are often misdirected or interrupted in life, Sears points out, finding happiness is as simple as refocusing one's energy.

Structured as individual lessons, each chapter features questions to help the reader fully comprehend the practices Sears describes that are designed to help improve concentration, focus your constructive energy, and develop habits to avoid fear and anxiety, which hinder your success and interrupt the natural harmonious state of body, mind, and spirit.
