Pau was no stranger to killing; one more victim meant nothing to him, and the Byers brothers and their wagon train were headed right his way! Death in the frozen clutches of the old hotel fit into his plans just fine.

About the Author

Michael Haack is the author of three books also published by Authorhouse: Sanitarium, The Navy and passport. Following the publishing of The 21 Mile House he plans to release all of his short stories in a book to be released in late 2016 under the tile of Willms Road. Mike lives in central California where he teaches sculpture, graphics and stained glass at a private school. He is a swimmer, bike rider mountain climber and backpacker. If it's done outdoors, then I enjoy doing it. Mikes daughter Christy and her husband live in Napa California and as well as Mike are active members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
