Twenty Years of Kaniadakis Entropy: Current Trends and Future Perspectives

Entropy is publishing a Special Issue in honor of the twentieth anniversary of Kaniadakis entropy's introduction. This then-new entropy is one of the most viable candidates for explaining the experimentally observed power-law-tailed statistical distributions in various physical, natural, and artificial complex systems. In this reprint, readers can find information about the recent applications of Kaniadakis entropy in mechanical statistics, high-energy physics, cosmology, information geometry, biology, and economic sciences.
