Twice Cursed: An Ever After Tales Collection (Paperback or Softback)

Over one hundred years ago, the Sleeping Beauty Brier Rose woke from her cursed sleep.

Set against the backdrop of Russia in the 1700s, Tsarina Brier Rose and her husband Tsar Leo raise their family just outside the haunted shadows of the Forest. Their eldest daughter, Elizaveta, has spent most of her life waiting for Tsar Leo to come home from battle. With his return finally on the horizon, she knows marriage is in her near future, whether she wants it or not.

But everything changes when Brier Rose falls into a cursed slumber for a second time, no spindles or spinning wheels in sight. The well of magic is drying up, throwing the world off balance. It’s up to Elizaveta and her friends, along with her former sweetheart Orrick and a witch named Nadia to find the answers hidden in the Forest and break Brier Rose’s curse once and for all.

The fifth instalment in Robyn Tocker’s Ever After Tales Collection blends the complex relationship between mothers and daughters with a deep dive into the nuances of first love. Is Eliza’s love for her chosen family any match for the most powerful magic spell?
