Twinkling: A Rescued Pug Dog's Self-Learned Guide on How to Become a Star (Paperback or Softback)

Twink E. Twinkle's life began in a foster home. She had to learn very quickly how to survive, so she became a warrior pug--until she got into a fight. Twink was sent to a dog shelter, tagged as an aggressive dog, incapable of rehabilitation. Along came Mary Lynne, and although she was nervous at first, she eventually welcomed Twink into her home and taught her that being a warrior wasn't necessary.

The Twinkling self-learn training guide provides readers with the basic skills needed to build a successful pet therapy team partnership. The exercises outlined are time-tested and proven spiritual, mental, and physical practices that put you and your dog on the path to success. Simple techniques teach the dog handler how to train themselves and their dogs on how to pass a variety of exercises for therapy dog certification to become a therapy dog partnership team.

It is a proven scientific and medical fact that therapy dogs improve the well being of people of all ages, suffering from a variety of medical conditions in a wide range of environments. Pet owners can learn to achieve their goals through creative imagery and other easy-to-learn methods. Mary Lynne and Twink mastered the art of pet therapy. Together, they've come to realize nothing is impossible and that a little love goes a long way.
