Twisted

Gaia, a girl born without the fear gene, is asked out on a date by David, a handsome and mysterious young man, while in the meantime, someone is slashing young blond girls in a nearby park

In this fourth book in the Fearless series, Gaia Moore, a teenager born without the gene for fear but with huge amounts of anger at her mother's death and her father's disappearance, faces a stalker who is obviously targeting tall, beautiful blondes--young women who look like her. Francine Pascal continues her march toward the solution to the series' overarching mysteries involving Gaia, her parents, and each one's raison d'etre, offering only enough hints to keep teens clamoring for the next book. Although each probably stands alone, it matters very little. Readers hooked on Gaia and her mixture of teen angst and the darkness that surrounds her will read them all. Frances Bradburn
