A Twisted Ladder

In 2007, a young woman named Rhodi Hawk won a scholarship from the International Thriller Writers to complete her first novel. A Twisted Ladder is the phenomenal end product. Essentially abandoned by their schizophrenic father, Madeleine and Marc LeBlanc pretty much raised themselves. Now Maddie is a psychologist at Tulane University-while Marc's body has just been found floating in a bayou. Distraught over her brother's apparent suicide, Madeleine plunges into her family's dark history...even back to TerreFleurs, the abandoned plantation where strange and sinister things once occurred. What she learns is that the ghosts of the past have a terrifying way of reaching into the future-and now they're reaching out for her!
