Massive marrows and over-sized onions were on show at the annual veg-fest growing contest. But with Reg the Veg Man cheating by turning his turnips into monsters would there be explosive consequences? Mrs Mop ditched her duster and went on strike when customers swapped leaving her tips for leaving their homes in a tip and when Miss Take the maths teacher chomped on chewy choc-ices while the children in her class choked on marking her maths papers! Were here days as a terrible teacher numbered?
Three fun-tastically, super-silly and delightfully daft short stories to delight and entertain the young reader. Full of tongue-twistingly-tastic text, super-sized souffles, and heart-tugging tales that are sure to delight and entertain.
Reggies’ Veg
It was the annual super-sized vegetable growing contest in the little village of Saggy Bottom and Reg the Veg man was determined to win, even if that meant cheating. With massive marrows, enormous eggplants, and oversized onions, this contest might end with explosive consequences!
Mrs Mop
Mrs Mop was the perfect polisher, a super-sweeper-upper and a dazzled with a duster, it made her rich and famous. But when Mrs Mop felt unappreciated, she found a way to make them pay. Would her customers learn to tip her instead of leaving their homes in a tip?
Terrible Teacher
Something didn’t quite add up in Miss Count’s maths class. As Miss Count chomped on chewy choc-ices, the children choked on doing all her work for her. But being lazy never gets you ahead, could her days as a terrible teacher be numbered?
"I was tickled and so were my grandchildren – a fun read.!
