Text read before the Quebec Literary and Historical Society in 1867. 24-page pamphlet in original sewn pink wrappers with black lettering and HRH logo on cover, maroon cloth tape at spine. Printed by Hunter, Rose & Co, Ottawa. Front cover detached, back nearly so, stitching loose throughout. Covers faded, some binding tape missing, previous owner's name in ink on front, glue traces (presumably from bookplate) inside front cover. Interior pages browned but no marks or chips.
