Two Hours To Live

Jay O’Connor came to Cuba to escape.

After a brutal divorce, a public scandal, and the wreckage of his once-glamorous movie-star life, all he wants is silence, distance, and a few days to himself.

But paradise turns deadly the moment a stranger in a white coat asks for an autograph.

One needle.
One deadly virus.
One impossible demand.

Jay has Two Hours to Live unless he can come up with five million dollars and deliver it before time runs out.

Every minute costs him strength.
Every choice brings him closer to death.
And the cure may be more dangerous than the disease.

Two Hours to Live is a relentless action thriller about survival, betrayal, and one man’s desperate race against time.

Joseph N Burton creates short, focused experiences for readers and players who want stories they can step into without a huge time commitment.

He is the creator of Two Hours To Live, an action thriller built around danger, desperation, and impossible choices. His stories focus on ordinary people forced into extraordinary situations where every decision matters.

Whether through books, game apps, or interactive stories, Joseph enjoys creating experiences that are intense, accessible, and built to hold attention in a busy world. His goal is to keep each project compact but memorable - the kind of story or experience someone can finish without needing weeks to get through it.

From his apps to his books and future projects, Joseph's work is designed around the idea that a story does not have to be long to leave an impression. His books are planned as shorter experiences, generally no longer than 20,000 to 60,000 words, with a focus on momentum, tension, and emotional payoff.

When he is not writing, Joseph enjoys developing game apps, creating stories, and exploring new ways to bring his ideas to life.

As of September 2026, Joseph is continuing to expand that idea through several new projects. He is currently working the sequel to *Two Hours To Live*, planned for release in 2027, while also developing a new puzzle game under the working title *Math Head*. Built around numbers, patterns, and quick problem-solving, the game challenges players to think creatively and find solutions under pressure, turning mathematics into a short, engaging mental workout. Both projects continue Joseph's focus on creating experiences that are easy to step into and challenging enough to hold your attention.
