About the Author
Fred Stephenson is a 63-year-old recently retired university professor, teacher, Navy veteran, husband, father of 3, grandfather of 4, Christian, and proud American. He has a Ph.D. in Business Administration, authored two previously published books, and is a respected advisor to CEO's, an accomplished leader and manager, a coach, a former head baker, a sought after mentor, and a serious backpacker and adventurer. As this book will verify, Fred is also a humorist, philosopher, and avid story teller. While serving on the faculty of The University of Georgia, he received numerous awards for excellence in teaching including UGA's highest teaching honor, which he was awarded twice. In 2002 he was selected as Elon University's Distinguished Alumnus of the Year. Fred and his wife Sharon live in Athens, Georgia, where they recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.
