Radio Kuwait broadcast for the first time in 1951 with Mubarak Al-Mayyal announcing "This is Kuwait". These two related items are from the 1980s. Both very good. (1) Radio Kuwait QSL, Assistant Under Secretary, Culture, Publicity and Tourism: glossy paper 15x13cm with stylised colour view to front and map to the back, folding out to 45x13cm with descriptions of Kuwait and Radio Kuwait, and QSL section with ms entry acknowledging receipt of a transmission on 12 April 1981. English text. // (2) Kuwait Broadcasting Service Engineering Department Frequency Schedule for M-84 for 4/3/84 - 5/5/84. Glossy paper 11x22cm with titles and colour photos of Radio Kuwait front and back, opening out to 30x22cm with map and information about Kuwait to one side. The other presents the schedule by Target Area worldwide (Gulf, Mashreq, Maghreb, E W C Africa, S Africa, Far East, E SE Asia, Europe& N America, S America, Australia & NZ), with frequency, wavelengths, times, and program codes (European, Holy Quran, Main Arabic Program, Persian, Urdu, and Special Arabic Program).
