The Two Sides

Most people learn how to function before they learn how to understand themselves.

They become responsible, successful, useful, loyal, strong, and acceptable.
From the outside, life may look stable. But inside, something can still feel divided. One side performs the role. The other side carries the feelings, desires, doubts, anger, guilt, and truths that did not fit the role.

Two Sides explores this inner distance.

Through reflections on family, approval, silence, competition, anger, shame, corporate life, power, legacy, and the pressure to perform, Mohan Babu examines how people slowly become strangers to parts of themselves. This is not a book about rejecting responsibility or escaping ordinary life. It is about noticing when performance has replaced presence, when strength has become self-erasure, and when success has begun to hide disconnection.

At its heart, Two Sides is an invitation to return to the self without punishment.

Not to become someone else.

But to stop abandoning the person who was there all along.
