Miniature (3" x 2 ¼"); [16]pp; white leather over board, gilt-stamped title on spine, 2 spine bands, brass clasp on fore edge; bookplate on front pastedown; color wreath surrounding title on title page; color linoleum-cut illustrations; handmade paper; fine. OCLC locates 13 copies. A miniature personal bookplate on the front pastedown from the library of Rabbi Kalman L. Levitan, co-founder of the Miniature Book Society in 1983, and a world-renowned collector. The story is one that was told to Tanya, the child of the book creators, Donna and Peter Thomas, while her sister was in the hospital. ".letterpress printed on Peter's paper with cuts by Donna.
