Cream-coloured sheets printed offset-lithograph in black on rectos only, reproducing two visual poems. Reproducing John Furnival's 'Lexical Key' and John J. Sharkey's 'Marriage Lines'. Fred Hunter published John Sharkey's first book and also was considering other Concrete Poetry publications, but in fact moved towards more sound poetry-based releases. These sample prints were never realised as a publication, no editiion size given, thought to be less than 30 copies printed. Furnival's Lexical Key is directly influenced by his collaboration with Ian Hamilton Finlay (as seen in P.O.T.H.13) of Semi-Idiotic Poem which also used a lexical key & grid design. That poem like Furnival's here is a homage to the semiotic or code-poem genre invented by Décio Pignatari and Luiz Ãngelo Pinto. Condition: minor wear to corners. Overall: Near Fine.
