Two-Year College Teaching Careers: Preparing Graduate Students for Success: 27 (Studies in Composition and Rhetoric)

This is a “starter book” for preparing successful Two-Year College (TYC) faculty. In this slim tome graduate students, as well as TYC and four-year college faculty, articulate their experience and expertise with the goal of improving and expanding graduate students’ career dreams and intellectual preparation.

Our authors write candidly and knowledgeably about TYC teaching and working life. They show graduate students the array of opportunities and challenges for beginning and pursuing successful and enjoyable TYC teaching careers.

We hope you will enjoy this book and build on our authors’ insights to move the important project of TYC teacher preparation and professional development inclusively and imaginatively forward.
