Upper text block edge gilt. Spine does not state publisher's name (possible variant binding). Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Slight gutter cracking. Final text page detached due to cracked rear hinge, otherwise binding firm. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper. Text block edges are a little tanned and foxed with much rubbing; gilt is dulled. Boards have some edge wear, with mild bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are moderately crushed and rubbed. Slightly scratched, rubbed and marked overall. A few liquid droplet marks. Boards mildly bowed. Spine is slightly cocked causing a notable backward lean. Gilt is bright.
