Rebound in dark olive buckram cloth (1940s/50s?) with addition of new endpapers and flyleaves; surface abrasion to spine cloth with title and volume labels missing with resulting two discolored patches; slender abrasions to cloth at board edges/margins. Text block edges toned/foxed with stains. Bookplate of Lucius Bryan Dabney on front pastedown. Foxing/toning to interior leaves. Binding is firm. Includes: Laws on pages 3-156; "Report of the Auditor of Public Accounts, of the State of Illinois, Transmitted to Both Houses of the General Assembly December 14, 1839."
