Two duplicate paper table place mats for M&O TEA ROOM - both previously folded vertically into thirds; some toning and soiling; one copy with an ink doodle on its blank verso. Approx. dimensions: H 8 inches x L 11 13/16 inches. Primary illustrated side has regional map with Gatlinburg and Great Smoky Mountains at center; inset green-toned photo image of the diner-restaurant which evidently also was a motel. No publishing date provided but extracted from an old scrapbook, the contents of which were all early to late 1930s. ***** Also with foldout light green paper pamphlet THE GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK. ENJOY IT FULLY FROM MOUNTAIN VIEW HOTEL GATLINBURG, TENNESSEE AT THE ENTRANCE TO THE PARK. Folds out vertically and horizontally with six panels per side. Unfolded dimensions H 18 inches x 12 inches. Does have copyright date of 1938.
