About this Item

Printed wraps, lacking the rear wrap. 32 pp. An account of the charges and case against the reverend Stephen H. Tyng, Jr., son of the noted clergyman of the same name. This work recalls the details of the infraction, as well as testimony and opinions, with the penalty of the admonition also printed. Apparently Tyng was found guilty of the offence of officiating within the joint parochial cure of two Presbyters of a neighboring Diocese, in opposition of their wishes (see page 22 of the pamphlet). FAIR condition. LACKING the rear wrap. Large dampstains affecting the piece throughout. Scattered foxing and minor soiling, with a few small stains present. A few stray pencil marks to the front wrap. Wrapper creased, torn and worn along the extremities. Bookseller Inventory # 010136
