Typed letter, 11 x 8.5 inches, signed on United States Senate, Committee on Banking and Finance, Subcommittee on Reconstruction Finance Corporation, dated April 12, 1951, thanking the addressee 'for your kind words with regard to the speech which I made in the Senate on March 27th.' Letter has been folded for mailing. Fulbright was Senator from Arkansas from 1945 to his defeat in 1974. He became a vigorous opponent of the Viet Nam war.
