First edition of this 'trilogy' reporting on the 49th anniversary transatlantic crossin of the Typhoon. The three 'books' are arranged as chapters in this single volume and consist of "Book One: Life & Death, 1884 - 1924", "Book Two: 1st Voyage of Typhoon, 1920", and "Book Three: Typhoon Refurbished, 1963 - 1969". The first Typhoon was sailed by William Washburn Nutting, a sailor from Indiana, and Book 1 is his biography, and Book 2 is the story of his and the Typhoon's first journey. Book 3 recounts the 49th anniversary transatlantic crossing. Good condition with cover tanning and slight edgewear.
