About the Author

David Amdur is a Professor of Visual Communications at Brown College in Minneapolis. He has received awards from the Council for Basic Education, the Getty Center for Education in the Arts, the Minnesota Center for Arts Education, and the Minnesota Humanities Commission to research and develop curriculum in art and design.
