Type aficionados belong to one of the most fervent and fanatical subsets of the creative world, championing designers who pull inspiration from a variety of disciplines in order to create their own unique characters. No longer solely relegated to the confines of print, today's typefaces often leap off the page to write their own stories, providing some of the most thrilling and innovative expressions of our alphabet ever created in three glorious dimensions. Typoholic collects a sampling of the most recent trends and developments in type design by designers who utilize such diverse mediums as illustration, craft, fashion, photography and performing arts to manifest their designs whether for branding, editorial, product, promotional or installation based applications. Includes an introductory section showcasing more than 40 brand new type families.
