UNIVERSAL HUMAN VALUES & PROFESSIONAL ETHICS: UHV

This book presents a comprehensive framework for the Universal Human Values (UHV) course, introduced by AICTE and approved by UGC, as part of India’s national initiative to integrate value-based education into higher learning. It is designed to guide students, educators, and institutions in cultivating ethical awareness, emotional intelligence, and holistic development.

Structured across five thematic units—covering self-exploration, harmony in the human being, relationships in family and society, coexistence with nature, and professional ethics—the book blends philosophical insights with experiential learning. Each unit offers lecture content, reflective exercises, tutorials, and case studies that encourage introspection and practical application.

The pedagogical approach emphasizes participatory methods, fostering clarity, compassion, and responsible living. Ultimately, the book serves as a transformative resource to nurture individuals who live with integrity, contribute meaningfully to society, and uphold universal values in both personal and professional spheres.
